IFSP 2026 | July 10-12, 2026 | Harbin, China

Against the backdrop of in-depth integrated development of global information technology, the 6th International Forum on Signal Processing (IFSP 2026) was successfully hosted in Harbin, China from July 10 to 12, 2026. It was organized by Harbin Engineering University, China; co-hosted by College of Information and Communication Engineering, Harbin Engineering University, China, Yangtze Delta Region Advanced Research Institute of Harbin Engineering University, China and National Key Laboratory on Blind Signal Processing, China. Experts, scholars and industrial representatives from numerous countries and regions across the globe gathered to discuss cutting-edge theories, core technologies and future development trends in the field of signal processing.

During the plenary lecture session, four distinguished scholars delivered keynote speeches, namely Professor Yong Wang (IET Fellow) from Harbin Institute of Technology, Professor Shuwen Xu from Xidian University, Professor Guangtao Zhai (IEEE Fellow) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Professor Badong Chen from Xi’an Jiaotong University. The four specialists shared their latest research findings, breakthroughs in core technologies and relevant application explorations focusing on time-frequency analysis of non-stationary signals, intelligent detection of weak marine targets, intelligent evaluation methodologies and information-theoretic learning respectively. They also exchanged insights on industrial development trends, offering profound theoretical foundations and practical application values, which provided valuable inspirations for participating scholars to carry out further academic research and technological innovation.

Beyond keynote addresses, the conference featured 22 invited presentations, 4 oral presentation sessions, 3 online sub-forums and 1 poster exhibition. Centering on hot research topics including DOA estimation and intelligent localization algorithms in array signal processing, terahertz digital holography and high-resolution radar imaging approaches, high-resolution radar target detection and automatic recognition technologies, as well as signal processing and resource optimization of multi-modal communication systems under multi-objective constraints, participating scholars conducted in-depth discussions on theoretical methodologies, technical implementation and application expansion of relevant fields, advancing academic interactions across diverse research branches.
